Distracted driver program may save a trip to our Long Beach Auto Body shop
June 14, 2016
A new driver on the road can be a danger and can mean a trip to the auto body shop. If you're a parent of a newly licensed driver or as a motorist who’s unsure of how new drivers will react in a dangerous situation, it can be a bit worrying. Add cell phones or rowdy friends in the car and the chances of a teen accident skyrocket. Did you know California has a program to educate teens on the dangers and consequences of reckless and distracted driving?
The CHP's Impact Teen Drivers program is aimed at newly licensed- or soon-to-be licensed teenage drivers. Automobile collisions have been the leading cause of death for American teens for generations. The goal of the program is to educate teens on the dangers of distracted driving and change their behaviors before it's too late.
Impact Teen Drivers is an educational program that addresses the dangers and consequences of reckless and distracted driving. With free online materials and classes available, its grassroots approach empowers young drivers to make meaningful behavioral changes in their own driving habits, as well as to promote safe driving in their community.
Even with all the education in the world, sometimes accidents happen. And we're here to help. Come in or call us on 424-241-1050 and we can assist you or your teen with repairs to your car.
